Debbie left the travails of this world to be with her Savior on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 in Yukon, Oklahoma. She was born in Oklahoma City on January 11, 1954, to her father, Roy Lee Sr. and her mother, Virginia Lou (Jeffreys) Ramsey. She was raised throughout Oklahoma and California. Debbie and her family moved to Ponca City in 1968, making it her home for 46 years. She graduated from Ponca City High School in 1972 and worked in marketing accounting for Conoco from 1973 until 1982. Debbie was a mom, raising her family and the community around her. Her home always had a room open for foster care or for her children’s friends who needed a place for care. Her refrigerator always had leftovers and her table had a plate for anyone in need. She also worked every odd job, including high school cafeteria cook and a rural postal carrier, delivering mail to farms around Ponca City with ZZ Top playing loudly. She moved to Yukon, Oklahoma in 2015 to be closer to her children and grandchild.

Debbie was dedicated to her Christian faith and sought nurturing through Bible Study Fellowship. She used her faith to nurture those around her, especially the children. She spent countless hours serving the children through nursery care, Sunday School teacher, Children’s church leader, Bible quizzing instructor, Caravan’s instructor, Vacation Bible School, and eventually the Teen Youth group. She also served the children at First Lutheran School as room mother, Cub Scout den mother, and a Blue Bird mother. She also dedicated herself to four foster daughters and a misplaced foreign exchange student. She was one who always opened her table to those in need especially those who were alone at holiday times.

She is survived by her husband, Michael Roy Kruck III of Yukon, OK; her daughter, Mika Rae (Kruck) Braine and husband, Jason Nathaniel Braine, and grandson, Jace Michael Braine of Yukon; her son, Rev. Jeffrey Logan Kruck and wife, Kathleena Marie (Blough) Kruck, Esq., of Oklahoma City, uncle, Donald Edward Jeffreys of Apple Valley, CA, aunt, Shirley Ann (Jeffreys) LaRue of Whittier, CA, uncle, Johnny Lynn Jeffreys of La Habra, CA, sister-in-law Linda Ramsey and niece, Rebekah Lou (Ramsey) Red Leaf of Ponca City, as well as numerous cousins.

Debbie was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, Roy Lee Ramsey Jr.

Debbie will be placed in a mausoleum at Resthaven Memorial Park during a ceremony on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am at St. Luke’s Church of the Nazarene, 1715 E. Prospect Ave., Ponca City, OK 74604.

In addition to being a wonderful mother, grandmother, and wife, Debbie was an incredible friend and will be deeply missed by those who were fortunate enough to know her.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Peachtree Landing, 105 W. Hazel Ave., Ponca City, OK 74601 or to the Oklahoma CASA Association, PO Box 54946, Oklahoma City, OK 73154 to aid foster child support in Oklahoma.
