Amanda Lynn Kerr, age 30, passed away Saturday May 27, 2018 while vacationing across the United States at the Sunrise Hospital & Medical Center in Las Vegas, NV after a long illness. The family has entrusted funeral arrangements under the care and direction to the Phillips Memorial Home, Massena.

Friends and family are welcome to call the Phillips Memorial Home, Massena Monday, June 4th from 2:00 to 4:00 pm. and 6:00 to 8:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, June 5th at 10:00 am at St. Lawrence Church, Louisville with burial to following in the parish cemetery.

Amanda was born on April 17, 1988 in Massena, NY to Christopher A. and Beverly Kerr. She attended Massena Schools and graduated from Massena Central in 2006.

She is survived by her Mother Beverly; a sister, Christian and Kevin McPartlin of Quincy, MA and their three children; Ethyn, Devin and Aydin; a brother, Josh and Amanda Mitchell-Kerr of Louisville, NY and their three children Bella, Cole, and Aubrie.

She is also survived by her paternal grandparents, Leonard and Marie (Julius) Kerr of Louisville, NY; uncles, Michael and wife Beverly, Douglas Kerr, Scott and wife Marlene all of Louisville, Timothy and wife Pam of Lockport, NY; three aunts, Jayne and Gregory Hart of Keeseville, NY, Lisa and Lynn Furnace of Norfolk, NY, Gayle and Todd MacDonald of Louisville, NY, along with a godmother Maryellen Ladison of Louisville, NY and many cousins.

Amanda was predeceased by her father, Christopher A. Kerr on July 17, 2017; an uncle, Patrick J. Kerr; an uncle and godfather, Bruce Ladison; a cousin, Chad Comins and her aunt Laurie Hollander.
Amanda was a beautiful, hardworking and ambitious woman who enjoyed many outdoor activities such as four wheeling and snowmobiling. She also enjoyed crafting, shopping online and spending time with her nieces and nephews. She loved her family very much and would try to do anything to make them happy. Amanda was an avid animal lover and loved to read and spend time reflecting. She was a firm believer in one day at a time.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the University of Vermont Cardiology Department at www.uvmhealth or Massena Animal Shelter.
