Mr. Revis Alexander, 83 of Steele, went to be with this Lord on Saturday, January 18, 2014.

Graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Monday at Reeve's Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Ashville, The Rev. Wayne Owen will officiate. Morgan funeral Chapel and Crematory is directing.

Mr. Alexander accepted the Lord at an early age. He loved reading, fishing, hunting and was an avid Alabama fan. He was a patient and loving father, grandfather, brother and friend who will be missed by his family and friends. Preceding him in death were his wife, Car5olyn Alexandr; parents, Lecil and Mae Alexander; and brother, Harlon Alexander.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his daughters, Wanda Sue Duncan (Husband, Gerald), Patsy Hyatt, Patricia Shockley (husband, Mark); sons, Carl Alexander and Danny Alexander; sistrs, Marlene (Jamie) Burton, Lorene Deweese, Betty Smith, Glennell Alexander, Ruth (Wayne) Owen, Kay (Bill) Netherton; brother, Norman (Barbara) Alexander; along with seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
