Dora Haney Moore, 91, passed away peacefully, Monday, July 5, 2010 at Beacon Place surrounded by her loved ones.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, July 8, 2010 at Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel. The burial will follow in Reidlawn cemetery.

Mrs. Moore was born in Reidsville, NC and was the daughter of the late Albin and Sallie Paschal Haney.

She was of the Primitive Baptist faith and attended Reidsville Primitive Baptist Church.

Dora retired from The American Tobacco Company after 36 years of service. She enjoyed crocheting and making quilts that showed the love in everyone she made.

Along with her parents, Mrs. Moore was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Clarence Moore; brothers and sisters, Girdy Paschal, Nettie Paschal, Evelyn Chilton, Edna Moore, Ollie Brand, Robert Haney, Pete Haney, Jerry Haney, Robin Haney, and infant brother.

Mrs. Moore is survived by her daughter, Hazel Moore Tucker and husband, Harrison of Greensboro; grandson, Byron Tucker and wife, Gail of Midway; great-grandchildren, Karen Rippo and husband, Ralph of Penn., Johnathan Tucker and Benjamin Tucker both of Naples, FL; great-great grandchildren, Makayla Rippo and Conner Rippo.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 7, 2010 from 7-9 pm. at Wilkerson Funeral Home.Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro, 2500 Summit Ave., Greensboro, NC 27405.
