Adeline Louise Mellor was born on 5 October 1881,
she was the daughter of John and Selina Mellor.

In 1891 the Mellor family were living at
127 Thomas Street, Miles Platting, Manchester.
Adeline Louise was a 9 year old scholar.

In 1901 the Mellor family were living at
13 Woodbine Street, Moss Side, Manchester,
(then a leafy retreat).
Adeline Louise was a 19 year old school teacher.

Adeline Louise Melllor married Victor Charles Proctor,
on 12 January 1924,
at Manchester Cathedral.

Victor Charles and Adeline Louise Proctor had two daughters:
Mary Louise in 1925 and
Marjorie Vivien in 1927.

In 1926 Victor Charles Proctor was appointed as
the Town Clerk for Mossley MBC.

In 1939 the Proctor family were living at
Marle House, Micklehurst, Mossley.
Victor Charles Proctor was a Solicitor and Town Clerk, and ran the ARP Report Centre
Adeline Louise was undertaking unpaid domestic duties, and ran the WVS and Report Centre
Mary Louise was at school
Marjorie Vivien was at school.

In 1958 Victor Charles and Adeline Louise enjoyed a cruise and a months stay to the Canary Islands.
They departed for Las Palmas on 27 January 1958,
and returned on 22 February 1958.

Adeline Louise Proctor died on 19 August 1966,
Adeline was age 84 years,
she was buried on 23 August 1966.

Victor Charles Proctor died 10 April 1969,
Victor Charles was age 81 years,
he was buried on 15 April 1969.
