Tiffany Michelle Lavy, 16, of Peck, Kansas, loving daughter, caring sister, beautiful granddaughter and Bishop Carroll sophomore, died April 17, 2006.

She was preceded in death by her grandpa, Douglas Wilken. She leaves to cherish her memory her parents, Mike and Lisa Lavy; brother, Tim Lavy; sisters, Terra Lavy, Trisha Lavy all of Peck; grandparents, Kathleen Wilken of Haysville, Don and Judi Lavy of Wichita; great-grandmother, Lucille Wilken of Mo.; godparents, Kim Lavy (Dexter), Mike Darland; boyfriend, Alex Kruse; many aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

Tiffany was a happy and loving child from the day she was born on November 1, 1989 until her untimely death on April 17, 2006. Tiffany was the second of four children born to us. Tiffany enjoyed her family as well as her cousins and friends. She was very active in school events, dances, as well as her love of athletics. She played volleyball and basketball in middle school at St. Joseph Catholic School, as well as volleyball in high school at Bishop Carroll Catholic High School. As a sophomore she was an assistant coach with her cousin Amy for the St. Joseph 8th grade girls volleyball team. Her sister, Trisha, played on this team and enjoyed being coached by her older sister and cousin. They took the team to a first place championship title. She loved playing fastpitch softball during the summer, which is evident by all the awards she has won on every age level. Her summers were full with traveling and playing softball tournaments. She loved KU basketball. If she couldn't be at the game watching it, she was glued to the television when they were on. This was a love she shared with her dad, grandpa, aunts and cousins. Tiffany always had a love for modeling - which she was given the opportunity to be in a fashion show, with Amy, to benefit the victims of Hurricane Katrina and loved every minute of it. They were scheduled to be in another fashion show at the end of April to benefit Breast Cancer. Tiffany had a contagious smile and touched the hearts of so many people. She was always willing to help out with whatever needed to be done. She had a great love for her family and friends, especially her grandpa. She told us how much she missed grandpa and wanted to be with him. Little did we know that she would be in Heaven with grandpa eight months later. On April 10, 2006 as Tiff and her sister, Terra, were on their way to school they were involved in a one vehicle accident that had Terra in the hospital for 4 days and Tiffany lived for a week before she passed away.
