Mrs. Josephine T. Wotier, widow of the late Max Wotier, passed away at her home, 859 Madison avenue, Saturday at 11:25 p.m. of complications. She had been ill for several weeks.
The funeral will be Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. at her residence with services at the St. Marys' Catholic Church at 9 o'clock. Rev. C.A. Meagher will officiate and burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery.
Mrs. Wotier was born Aug. 31, 1861 in St. Louis. Her husband, Max Wotier preceded her in death in 1929. Mr. and Mrs. Wotier moved to Edwardsville to live in 1905 and she had resided here since that time. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Jack Dimond, Edwardsville; two sons, Edward H. Wotier, Edwardsville, Arthur Wotier, of Washington, D.C.; three sisters, Mrs. Emma O'Brien, Mrs. Christ Bauer, Mrs. Rose Crocker of St. Louis; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Mrs. Wotier was affiliated with the St. Mary's Catholic Church.
