Betty Carol Mahaffey Perdue, 71, of Lancaster passed away at her home. She was born in Lancaster, a daughter of Johnnie Heyward and Grace Wright Mahaffey. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She loved to cook, sew, fish, and watch TV. She was an Atlanta Braves fan. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by 2 daughters, 4 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded by 3 brothers Fred Allen Mahaffey Sr., William Ervin “Elbow” Mahaffey and Daniel Franklin Mahaffey Sr.
