ALEXANDER I. FINLAY
Members of the Billy Sunday Club will assist in funeral services Tuesday for Alexander I. Finlay, who died Saturday night at the home of his son, Ross Finlay, 131 Maxwell Avenue. Mr. Finlay was active for many years in Furman Street Methodist Church. Funeral services will be held at the A. C. Schumacher funeral home at 2 P.M. Tuesday, with the Rev. Dr. H. H. Downey, pastor of the Furman Street Church, officiating, and in Furman Street Church a half hour later. Amos Phipps will sing, Stephen B. Groner will offer the prayer, and Dr. Downey will preach. Bearers will represent the Furman Street Church and the Billy Sunday Club. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
