Bette J. Gysland, 94, Ada, MN, died Wednesday, March 7, 2018, at Benedictine Care Community, in Ada, MN.
Bette Jane Scherf was born February 17, 1924 to August and May (Huntly) Scherf in Ada, MN. She was united in marriage to Rudolph O. Gysland. They mainly resided in Norman and Polk County where they raised their family. Rudy died in 1974.
Bette was always active in many organizations including Ada VFW auxiliary, AARP Volunteer Resource, IRS volunteer Group, and Ada & Norman County Senior Citizens.
She was preceded by her parents, siblings, husband, and son David. Bette is survived by her other son and his family, and her grandchildren.
Bette Gysland was a good daughter, good sister, good cousin, good aunt, good wife, good mother, good grandmother, good great grandmother, good mother-in-law, good friend, but she was a GREAT person!!!
Memorial Service: 11:00AM Saturday, April 21, 2018, at Grace Lutheran Church, Ada, MN.
Visitation: One hour before the service at the church.
