Bossier City - A Celebration of Life service will be held for Marion Dye, 94, on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be on Friday, June 8, 2018 from 5-7 p.m. at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home.

Marion was born on January 6, 1924 to James and Rosa Lena Robinson in Wynne, AR. She served her country by joining the U.S. Navy during World War II. Marion married Buddy Dye and together they raised three children, Randy, Rick and Robin. Later in life, Marion was employed as a sales associate for J.C. Penney from which she retired. Marion was a devoted member of Summer Grove Baptist Church for many years and enjoyed fellowship with other members of her Sunday school class.

Marion was preceded in death by her husband, Buddy Dye; her son, Randy Dye; and her two sisters, Muriel Robinson and Francais Walker. Left to cherish her memory are her son, Rick Dye; her daughter, Robin Toups; her grandchildren, Brandy Dutra, Rick Dye, Jr., Josh Dye, Kasey Miller, Carson Dye, Heather Feazell, Trey Feazell, and Courtney Toups; numerous great-grandchildren; her sister, Alice Bryant; and nephews, Reggie Walker and Jimmy Wayne Bryant.

Marion was a loving, caring person and will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.
