Aldridge, Mary Ellen, 70, of Tampa, died Tuesday (Aug. 17, 1993) at DeKalb Medical Center in Decatur, Ga., where she was visiting. She was born in Waycross, Ga., and lived in Tampa most of her life. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Lilly Lodge 177 and Pillar of Truth Church. Survivors include her husband, Willie L. Sr.; a son, Willie L. Jr., Lithonia, Ga.; three daughters, Dr. Delores P. Aldridge Essuon, Decatur, Marjorie Aldridge Holder, Barbados, and Jacquelyn Aldridge , Staten Island, N.Y.; three sisters, Essie B. Avila, St. Albans, N.Y., and Marjorie B. Guest and Doris Bennett, both of Tampa; and three grandchildren.
