Kenny Dairl Vincent, age 62, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Saturday, (June 09, 2018) at the University of Louisville Hospital.
He was born on August 15, 1955 in Grayson County, Kentucky, the son of the late Bobby Dairl Vincent and Alverda Gray Davis.
He was a farmer, a chuck wagon chef, an amateur archaeologist, an auction fanatic, a treasure hunter, an avid collector of many things, a backroad traveler, and a living historian.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon McClure Vincent of Leitchfield; daughters, Rebecca Ricketts (Jordan) of Leitchfield and Anna Vincent Pitcock (John) of Lexington, KY; three grandchildren, Kathleen, Samuel and Augustus “Gus” Ricketts all of Leitchfield; five sisters: Patty Bailey of Leitchfield, Alisa Russell (Bill) of Rockledge, FL, Judy Warner of Lexington, Lavetta Blain (David) of Elizabethtown, KY, and Cathy Bentley (Terry) of Taylorsville, KY; three brothers, William Davis of Hodgenville, KY, Scott Vincent (Mindy) of Mt. Washington, KY, and Steven “Skipper” Vincent (Tabby) of Taylorsville, KY. A stepfather, Richard Davis of Elizabethtown; a stepmother, Jane Vincent of Mt. Washington; and many beloved nieces, nephews and close friends also survive.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, (June 14, 2018) at Eveleigh Church on Brandenburg Rd in Leitchfield. Bro. Alan Johnson and Bro. Jerry Isaacs will be officiating. Burial will be in the Vincent Family Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday and at Eveleigh Church from 10:00 a.m. Thursday until time of services.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the National Kidney Foundation or the National Stroke Foundation.
