Sylvia Jean Snipes Ellison, 76, wife of the late Edwin Lee Ellison, passed away June 6, 2018.
Born in Williamston, she was a daughter of the late Thomas Wilton Snipes, Sr. and Edna Viola Talbert Snipes. She retired from BASF and was a member of Williamston First Baptist Church.
She is survived by a son, Chris Ellison (Kathleen) of Williamston; sisters, Peggy S. Ellison of Belton, and Patsy S. Mize of Easley; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a son, Edwin Anthony Ellison; brother, Thomas “Buddy” Wilton Snipes, Jr.; and granddaughter, Kristina Paige Ellison.
Burial at Greenville Memorial Gardens.
