Mrs. Charlotte R.Harper, 83, of 136 Pasadena Ave., died in Elyria Memorial Hospital yesterday afternoon after four months illness. She was the widow of J.L. Harper who died in 1938.
Mrs. Harper was born in Wellersburg, Pa., July 26, 1877, and lived in Elyria 40 years. She was a member of the United Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are three sons, James, Willard and Raymond and a daughter, Mrs. Charlotte Novak, all of Elyria; three grandchildren; one great grandchild and a brother, John Knieriem, Cumberland, Md.
Services will be Thursday at 1:30 p.m. in the Sudro-Curtis Funeral Home with the Rev. John D. Mellinger officiating. Burial will be in Ridge Hill Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 this evening.
