Mrs. William Green, 25, former Manitowoc resident, died Saturday morning of
accidental carbon monoxide poisoning at home on Rt. 2, Neenah.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Grace Evangelical Lutheran
Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Vernon Albrecht of Neenah will officiate and
burial will be in Knollwood Memorial Gardesns, Town of Kossuth.
The former Marcella B. Bessert was born June 13, 1939, at Brillion, daughter of
Martin and Augusta Janke Bessert. She attended First German Evangelical
Lutheran Parochial School at Brillion and came to Manitowoc with her parents.
She was graduated from Lincoln High School, Manitowoc, in 1957 and was
married to William Green Aug. 23, 1958, at Manitowoc. They moved to Neenah
in 1960.
She is survived by her husband, a son, and two daughters (Private); parents of
Herman Road, Manitowoc; three brothers, and two sisters (Private).
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, until 11 a.m. Tuesday, when
the casket will be moved to the church where the body will lie in state until time service.
