Carl Jeffrey Reeves, age 82, of Palestine, died Sunday, June 29, 2003, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Forrest City. He was A Church of God Minister. son of Dixie William and Ora Lee Cherry Reeves. He served in the US Navy

Bro. Reeves, born July 10, 1920, in Highpoint, Miss., was the son of Doxie William and Ora Lee Cherry Reeves. He was a construction worker and a Church of God minister.

Bro. Reeves is survived by his wife, Irene Reeves of the home; two sons, William D. Reeves of Alabama and Lawrence Reeves of Texas; two sisters, Pauline Bieber and Helen Amerson, both of Forrest City; one granddaughter and one great-granddaughter.

Visitation services for Bro. Reeves will be held on Tuesday, July 1, 2003, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Morgan Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 2, 2003, at 2 p.m. at Salem Methodist Church in Moro with burial following in Salem Methodist Cemetery.
