Bro. Reeves, born July 10, 1920, in Highpoint, Miss., was the son of Doxie William and Ora Lee Cherry Reeves. He was a construction worker and a Church of God minister.
Bro. Reeves is survived by his wife, Irene Reeves of the home; two sons, William D. Reeves of Alabama and Lawrence Reeves of Texas; two sisters, Pauline Bieber and Helen Amerson, both of Forrest City; one granddaughter and one great-granddaughter.
Visitation services for Bro. Reeves will be held on Tuesday, July 1, 2003, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Morgan Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 2, 2003, at 2 p.m. at Salem Methodist Church in Moro with burial following in Salem Methodist Cemetery.
