She was her mother's fifth child and the first to be born in a Hospital. She was her mother's only curly headed baby. She had Hazel eyes and a vibrant smile. She loved her family fiercely.
She married Marion James Geiger on 16th of April 1957 in Sheridan Indiana.
They had one child Dee Geiger.
In 1974 she remarried in October to Henry Aubrey Shoddy Jr. In Atlanta Georgia. They were together 9 years.
Sandra worked mostly in management.
She had been a private care giver and child care worker as well as a brief stint as an employee of Walt Disney World.
But, her favorite job was being a Mother, Aunt and Sister. She was the most loving mother.
She was an avid reader and enjoyed time in nature most of all. She loved visiting National Forests and the Blue Ridge Mountains. She also enjoyed the beaches while living in Florida.
She enjoyed hand held electronic games.
She could play piano and crochet.
She and her sisters sang for church revivals as "The Rentschler Sisters"
She loved sitting rocking on her front porch with her dogs. Her favorite bird was a chickadee. She was fond of soft bright colors Yellow, pink, Orange,Blue.
She was strong in her faith and a champion Prayer warrior.
She had two Brothers:
Don Richard Rentschler and
Loren Emerson Rentschler
Three sisters:
Velera LaRose Rentschler Maddox Hanna
EnolaJean Rentschler Reagan Gardner Lowry Crist.
Carol Lynn Rentschler Moore
She had 21 niece's and nephews that she adored.
She was a Polio survivor.
She passed away after a long battle with Bone Cancer and leukemia.
