Early Life: Courtland was born June 11, 1939, in American Fork, Utah, to Vern D. and Echo Turner McDaniel. He has six brothers and two sisters.
Life’s Work | Service | Interests: Courtland lived a rather exciting and adventurous life. He worked as a farmer, coal miner, sawmill worker, security guard, and followed the rodeo circuit. Because of his love for working with horses and cattle, he later became a cowboy. He had skills in leatherworking, making saddles, shoes and boots. He was also a farrier. Following his service in the United States Army, he worked at Hill Air Force Base as an aircraft electrician. In his spare time, he would go bowling and watch his favorite old Western movies. Courtland Price McDaniel passed away June 9, 2018, at home in American Fork, Utah. He was 78.
Survived By: Three of four children: Kenneth, Kaysville; Eleanor Brown, Arkansas; Courtland Jr., Oklahoma; 14 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and siblings: Hazel Shelton, American Fork; Dwayne, Lehi; Phyliss, American Fork; Lee, Lehi; David, Pleasant Grove; Martin, American Fork.
Preceded In Death By: His daughter, Jeanette; his parents; and brothers, Delbert and Lewis.
