Allison Joyce Klingel, 81, unexpectedly passed away on Saturday, June 9, 2018, at Mercy Health in Muskegon, Michigan. She will be remembered as a loving mom, grandmother and great-grandmother who also loved her cat Lila. She enjoyed true crime novels and true crime T.V. Always kind to everyone she met and would listen with all her heart, Allison will be missed by all who knew her.
Allison was preceded in death by her son Kenneth Klingel, grandson Riley Klingel, her parents Floyd and Vera Rake, and a brother Eugene Rake. She is survived by her children Donold Klingel, Connie (Paul) Sweeney, Robert (Merri) Klingel, and Randy (Rhonda) Klingel; grandchildren James (Tina) Halasinski, Christine Bell, Eric (Jenny) Klingel, Brian (Julie) Klingel, Adam (Kate) Klingel, Dillon DeCaire and Andria DeCaire. Allison is also survived by great-grandchildren Angel, Summer, Maddison, Jade, Taylor, Gibson, Harmony, Anderson, Gaven and Waylynn; her sisters and brother Donna DeJonge, Patricia, and Lynn (Lyla) Rake and by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be 2:45 pm Friday, June 15, 2018, at Sunrise Memorial Gardens, Muskegon.
