CHAFFEE — Claude Kinder Jr., 41 years old, died at 2:45 p m. Thursday at the family home in Perkins.
He was born Aug 10, 1940, the son of Claude and Violet Goodwin Kinder Sr., who survive. He married Shirley Cotner Nov. 12, 1975.
Kinder was a self-employed house-siding applicator. He retired about a year ago due to ill health. He served in the Air Force, and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church of Chaffee and a member of the Missouri Muleskinner Sidebander 39 USB Club, of which he was assistant vice president.
Survivors Include his wife; son, Shawn Kinder, Chaffee; daughters, Mrs. Joan Hooker, Festus and Mrs. Tina Mangrum, Advance, his parents, of Perkins, step-son. Nelson Cotner, Moberly, stepdaughter, Mrs. Carolyn Black, Perkins, and paternal grandmother, Mrs. Flo Kinder of Chaffee, brothers, Kenneth Kinder, St Louis, David Kinder, Imperial, Robert Kinder, Barnhart, and Martin Kinder, Barnhart; sister, Mrs. Janet Sansouzle, Barharnt; two grandchildren. and three step-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Chaffee. Service will be at 2 p m today, with the Rev Ron Bray, pastor of Calvary Baptist Church, officiating Burial will be In Union Park Cemetery at Chaffee.
