youthful martyrs. Among the young men who fell in the recent battles are the sons of three Methodist ministers, T.L. Capers, son of the late Bishop Capers; H. A. McSwain, son of Rev. Mr. McSwain of the South Carolina Conference and Whitelord Smith, Jr. son of Rev. Dr. Smith. These young men we believe were all lately students of Wofford College, Spartenburg, Columbia (S.c.)
