He was born to Bruce E. and Elizabeth Powell Adams and was to everyone that knew him and loved him a man with a heart of unconditional love. His life was full of challenges he made for himself, but he never let them stop him from being the author of his life. Graduating from Platte County R-III High School in 1999, he went on to serve our country in the Marine Corps. Being deployed to Iraq, Barry returned with many honors, not just with medals and accreditation, but with knowing that he contributed to the effort of the emancipation of those less fortunate. With his persistence to live life to the fullest, he became his own entrepreneur of Monster Pizza while still in the Marine Corps. His desire to be with family and friends gravitated him back to his roots. He became part of the AAA Lawnmowers team, the family owned business. Barry's talents and aspirations led him to be part manager and creative genius of the website for the business. His "can-do" attitude will continually motivate the lives that he touched. Enjoying one of his passions, riding his motorcycle, his life was cut short. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bob and Jewell Powell and Bruce and Marie Adams. Barry died at North Kansas City Hospital from injuries in a motorcycle accident at age 26.
