MARJORIE T. COSTELLO - OBITUARY

Scranton Times - May 23, 1983

Mrs. Marjorie T. "Marge" Costello, 540 Harrison Ave., died this morning in Moses Taylor Hospital, where she was admitted on Saturday.

Her husband, William J. Costello, died in 1977.

She was the mother of Patty Costello, this city, world class professional bowler.

A lifelong Scranton resident, she was a daughter of the late Daniel and Beatrice Franklin Moran.

Other survivors are a son, Daniel, Upper Marlboro, MD; four sisters, Mrs. Helen Jones, and Mrs. Kay Badick, Scranton; Mrs. Alice Barber, North Plainfield, NJ, and Mrs. Rita Dougher, New Hampshire, and a grandson.

Two brothers, Joseph and Dan Moran, preceded her in death.

The funeral will be Wednesday from the Neil W. Regan Funeral Home, 1900 Pittston Ave., at a time to be announced.

Interment, Cathedral Cemetery. Viewing, Tuesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM.
