Carrie E. Williams was the daughter of Benjamin Hamilton and Mary Smith. She was born in Winona, Shannon County, Missouri and married Jackson Randolph Corey WILLIAMS there August 6, 1899. Carrie and J.R.C. had six children together; Gata Lee, Keller May, Edna Beatrice, Merdith M., Mary Florine, and Earl Eugene. Their seventh child was due to be born in November or December of 1920, but in May 1920, Carrie lost the baby and developed Puerperal Septaemia which caused her death a week later; having only lived in Madison County, for a little more than two years.
