A.J. Clark, 77 year old resident of Colcord, Oklahoma, died on June 14, 2018 at his home. Born on April 26, 1941 in Philadelphia, Mississippi, he was the son of George Clark and Lola Mae Savel Clark Prewitt. A.J. married Annie Ruth Walker on September 10, 1960 in Attala County, Mississippi. They moved to Siloam Springs, Arkansas in 1972 and he worked at Gates Rubber Company as a cord treater. In 1985, they moved into Colcord and he also worked as cattle farmer. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and raising Charolais cows.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, James Clark; and one sister, Pearl Hancock.

He is survived by his wife, Annie of the home; son, JR Clark and wife Regina of Colcord; one brother, Danny Prewitt and wife Rose of Philadelphia, Mississippi; brother-in-law, Doyle Hancock of De Kalb, Mississippi; three grandchildren, Jessica Cook and husband Roy of Lincoln, Arkansas, Justin Clark of Kansas, Oklahoma, and Tia Clark of Gravette, Arkansas; four great grandchildren, Jayden Cook, Madisen Cook, Riley Clark, and Ashlynn Cooley; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs, Arkansas, with Mr. Lowell Wood officiating. Burial will follow at Row Cemetery in Colcord. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, June 18, 2018 at Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs.
