CARL E. "BUD'' BARNETT, 75, of Point Pleasant died March 21, 1992, at Holzer Medical Center, Gallipolis, Ohio, after a long illness. He was retired from West Virginia National Guard and was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of Heights United Methodist Church, Point Pleasant, and American Legion. Surviving: son, Keith R. of Parkersburg; sisters, Hope Rice, Midge Schwartz and Tootsie Garrison, all of Point Pleasant, Opal Casto of Henderson, Beulah Lewis of Southside; brothers, Roland of Charleston, Chester of Kirkland, Ill.; two grandchildren. Service will be 1 p.m. Monday at Crow-Hussell Funeral Home, Point Pleasant, with the Rev. Michael S. Chapman officiating. Burial will be in Lone Oak Cemetery, Point Pleasant. Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
