Waseca—Æthelflæd Sally Donna Isker, 4 months old, went to be with the Lord, Friday, June 15, 2018 at her home in Martinsburg, WV. Born February 3, 2018, in Ranson, WV, she was the daughter of Rev. Andrew and Kara (Zabilla) Isker.
She was named after the Christian Anglo-Saxon princess and daughter of King Alfred the Great, and lived up to this name all 132 days of her short life. Her mother described her as the happiest and most content baby ever born, and rarely was she seen without big, bright eyes and a smile. While her family feels immense grief, we also rejoice that she is in glory before the Lord Jesus Christ.
In addition to her parents she is survived by two brothers, Boniface Isker (6), Ambrose Isker (2); one sister, Wilhelmina Isker (4); Paternal grandparents, Gary and Sally Isker (of Waseca, MN); Maternal grandparents, Michael and Sue Zabilla (of St. Paul, MN); Aunt Angela (Isker) Snakenberg and husband Schuyler; Uncle Scott Zabilla and wife Sarena; Aunt Rachel Zabilla; Great Aunt Susan Isker; Great Aunt Donna and Uncle Joe; Great-Great Uncle Leonard Zabilla; many other aunts and uncles and cousins and a very large church family across the whole world.
Visitation will be held from 3-8PM on Friday, June 29, 2018 at Dennis Funeral & Cremation Services in Waseca. A graveside service will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at Woodville Cemetery in Waseca, with Rev. Andrew Isker officiating. An open reception will follow at the home of Gary and Sally Isker, located at 13393 410th Avenue, Waseca.
