"Peggy V. Bruckert, 93, passed away at her home on Wednesday, June 20, 2018. Peggy was born on September 3, 1924. She was a buyer for many years for Stewart's Department Store and was a member of Southeast Christian Church. Peggy loved going to the beach; her favorite destination was Destin. Her family will always remember her as their loving and caring mother and Nanaw; she will be deeply missed. Along with many other family members, she is preceaded in death by her husbands, Thomas F. Mantell and John Bruckert; her son, Thomas Mantell and her grandchildren, Michelle and Johnathan. Here to carry on her beautiful memory are her sons, Terry Mantell (Pam), Mark Bruckert (Chris) and Greg Bruckert (Shelly); 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Visitation will take place from 12-5pm Saturday, June 23rd at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road. A service celebrating Peggy's life will be held at 12pm on Monday, June 25th at the funeral home, with a private burial taking place at Resthaven Memorial Park. "
