Beatrice spent her early life in Marinette and graduated from Marinette High School with the Class of 1950.
She married James A. Dietrich on Feb. 24, 1951, residing in the McAllister area since her marriage.
Beatrice devoted most of her life to the care of her husband and family and enjoyed later years with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was a very good cook and enjoyed baking. She and Jim loved to have company, and you could stop over any time for a cup of coffee and a cookie.
Beatrice is survived by five children: Janice Heagle and Jeanette Paul, both of Appleton, WI; Joie (Steve) Garrigan of Lena, WI; Jim of South Dakota and Tom of Menominee, MI;
16 grandchildren: Greg Schultz (Cassandra), Diana Schultz, Angela Tuchalski (Matt), Amanda Orlando, Taylor Neeper (Justin), Justin Dietrich, Karrie Seefeldt (Dean), Jason Thomson (Savannah), Nicki Thomson (Matt Mech), Steve Garrigan (Jayne), Sheila Hamilton (Tod), Sarah Behnke (Trevor), Emily Powers (Sean), Matt Dietrich, Christopher Dietrich and Karissa Dietrich;
23 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren;
one brother Raymond (Phyllis) Hill;
and a daughter-in-law, Diane Dietrich.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband James; two sons: Jeff and John Dietrich; a daughter Jeanie Thomson; two sons-in-law: Valroy Heagle and Glenn Paul ; two brothers: Gerald {3/7/1923-9/6/2010 of Kalmazoo, MI} and Ralph Hill; and three sisters: Olive Petcka, Ruth Rose and Geneva Olson.
Friends may call at Hansen-Onion-Martell Funeral Home on Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2020, from 10 a.m. until the time of services at noon. Burial will follow at Tabor Lutheran Cemetery in McAllister.
