Mrs. Landon was the daughter of Blanche (Northrup) and William H. Cartwright. She lived in Winter Haven, but previously lived in Lake Placid. She came to Florida from Saginaw, Michigan, in 1981.
Mrs. Landon was an active member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Lake Placid, the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and was of the Methodist faith. Mrs. Landon enjoyed a bingo and cards, and she was an avid reader. She loved to be around her family and friends, especially her grandchildren and her great granddaughter.
Mrs. Landon is preceded in death by her loving husband Rex; daughter, Kimberly Pollack; sister, Evelyn Stevens and a brother Lloyd J. Cartwright.
