Mrs. Marino was a faithful member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, and was self-employed as owner and operator of Marino’s Lunch on Augusta Street until 2017. “She was loved and will be missed by all those she met, especially by her loving family.”
In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Marino was preceded in death by a son, Anthony Marino; and two sisters, Leone Brown and Nina Orange.
Surviving are two sons, Dominick A. Marino and his wife Trish of Hawaii and Joseph D. Marino and his wife Karen of Staunton; four daughters, Mary P. Wood and her husband Richard of Churchville, Catherine L. Ragsdale and her husband Irv of Chantilly, Ann M. Marino of Staunton, and Carolyn M. Ruleman and her husband Larry of Mt. Solon; “Me-Maw” was blessed by ten grandchildren, Mark, Stacy, Jerimiah, Layla, Adam, Michael, David, Jessica Sal, and Racheal; eighteen great-grandchildren; a brother, Edward McGann of Florida; and a number of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 26, 2018 in the Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 27, 2018 in St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church by Father Joseph Wamala. Burial will follow in Thornrose Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Stacy Farley, Jerimiah Maclam, David Marino, Adam Maclam, Michael Ragsdale, and John Robinson.
It is suggested those desiring make memorial contributions to a charity of one’s choice. Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton, is in charge of her arrangements.
