He was born in Saluda County, she was a daughter of the late John O. and Anna Palm Leopard DeLoach. She was retired employee of Greenwood Mills, Ninety Six Plant and a member of the Quarter Century Club and Temple Baptist Church. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Willie (Jeanette) Vaughn of Greenwood; a son Charles A. Holley of Ninety Six; three sisters, Mrs. Ida Belle Lott of Ninety Six, Mrs. Sophie Manley of Columbia and Mrs. Essie Reynolds of Newberry; and six grandchildren. Burial in Elmwood Cemetery.
