Mr. Aurigemma was born in Bridgeport on August 20, 1923. He was the son of the late James and Lillian (Madorno) Aurigemma. He was a resident of Shelton since 1959.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran served in World War II. He retired from Sikorsky Aircraft and was a former member of the local Teamsters Union.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his son, James "Jimmy" Aurigemma and his wife Sally; daughter, Lillian "Lil" Martenson and her husband Ron; two sisters, Kate Matyas and Suntha O'Neill; grandchildren, Sarah and James Aurigemma and Erik and Dana Martenson; nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by three brothers, John, James and Anthony Aurigemma.
