Faye, 86, passed away June 27, 2018 in Grand Rapids, MI. She was born to Harrison and Ada Belle (Palem) Brooks.
She was preceded in death by her parents; 8 brothers and sisters, Ray Brooks, Shirley Haynes, Doris Ellsworth, Mae Henry, Ruth Henry, Gladys Kuxhaus, Bob Brooks, and Alton Brooks; and her husband, Richard (in 2008).
She is survived by her son, Richard H. (Kim) Koenig, Jr.; daughter, Karen (Ronald) Jacoby; 5 grandchildren, Evan Koenig, Adam Koenig, Nicholas Koessel, Bethany (Clay) Booth, and Danielle (John) Gaiser; and 3 great-grand children, Skylee Stewart, Paisley Booth, and Mason Gaiser.
She was a member of The People's Church of East Lansing, and a former member of the Elks Club. She was a former employee of Michigan State University where she served as a secretary for former President, John Hannah.
Funeral service was July 2m 2018 at Tiffany Funeral Home, Lansing. Rev. Drew Filkins officiated. Interment was in Deepdale Memorial Park.
