Bill retired from his career at the Federal Aviation Administration where he worked as Aircraft Communicator, Air Traffic Controller and Computer Systems Analyst in; Oklahoma City, Point Barrow and Cordova Alaska, Washington National and Greater Pittsburgh airports and the National Aviation Facilities and Experimental Center in Pomona, NJ. Bill proudly served in the Army Air Corps in World War II. He was a past commander of American Legion Post 353 in Linwood, a member of the Society of Airway Pioneers and the Mendenhall Family Association. Throughout his life he enjoyed music, playing his guitar in groups and entertaining family and singing. Bill was well loved by his wife Midge (Eleanor D:2001), children Janet and Michael and 5 grandchildren 1 great grandson.
