CAMPBELL, Rose Mary Parks, 86, widow of Lanny Reid Campbell, died Apr. 30, 2019 at the Hospice Unit of the University of Kentucky Hospital. Born Feb. 10, 1933 in Knott County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Ollie Adams Parks. Mrs. Campbell retired from Texas Instruments and was a member of Mt. OIivet Baptist Church. Survivors include two brothers, Bob (Pauline) Parks and H.B. (Martha) Parks; and three sisters, Sandra (John) Knox, Dorothy Justice, and Phyllis Embry. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by five siblings, Raymond Parks, Opal Davidson, Dewey Parks, Marina Fields, and Nila Jean Mullins. The family would like to thank all the residents and staff at Hartland Hills retirement community. Funeral services will be held 2:30 pm Sat., May 4 at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, Harrodsburg Rd. by Bro. Dewayne Walker and Bro. Steve Conley. Burial will be in Blue Grass Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 12:30 pm Sat. until the service. Memorial contributions are suggested to Mt. Olivet Baptist Church, 1008 Delaware Ave., Lexington, KY 40505 and Bluegrass Hospice Care, 2312 Alexandria Dr., Lexington, KY 40504.
