Nancy Ann Prater was born 18 of August 1824 in Wayne County Tennessee. She was the daughter of Martin Prater of Wayne County, Tennessee and Nancy of N.C. She died September 18,1906 in Oran, Palo Pinto County, Texas. According to Wayne County Tennessee History book, Nancy Prater Williams "Nannie" raised eight children, two of these were twin daughters of her sister Elizabeth Prater, however in later records, census shows other children were born. In 1850 she lived with her husband James A Williams in Hot Springs Arkansas, by 1880 they were in Palo Pinto County Tx. Mrs Williams was responsible for building one of the first school houses in the area., as well as being noted for taking care of folks all over the county.

the cemetery is virtually inacessible & on private property so getting pictures of headstones was impossible
