Aleda S. Eberhardt, 91, Cornell, died Thursday, Dec. 24 at Cornell Area Care Center.

She was born Dec. 6, 1896 in Glad Brook, Iowa to Augusta (Schwarden) and Louis Moeller.

She married Ernest Eberhardt on June 5, 1918 in Amity, Iowa. They moved to the Town of Colburn in 1955. She resided there until moving to the Cornell Area Care Center in 1985.

She was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Cornell, and American Legion Auxiliary Howe-Paff Unit 37 of Elk Mound since 1938.

Survivors include three sons, Raymond, Edgerton, Robert and Richard, Chippewa Falls; two daughters, Helen Canfield, Jim Falls, and LaVonne Mahalco, Gilman; 25 grandchildren; and 44 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded by her husband, one daughter, three brothers, one sister, and one grandson.

Services will be 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, Cornell. Rev. James Leschensky will officiate. Spring interment will be in Cornell Cemetery.

Friends may call 4 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Borton Funeral Home, Cornell, and one hour prior to the service Sunday at the church.
