WYNNE, KATHRYN N. (KATIE) joined her Maker on November 11, 2002. She was born in Temple, TX, July 15, 1924, to Hubert and Jesse Wynne. She was employed at McCloskey General Hospital in Fort Hood, Texas from 1949 to 1957. She moved to Dallas in 1957 and worked in the Supply Dept. at the Dallas V.A. Medical Center until her retirement in 1975. She was preceded in death by her sister Jimmie Lewellen and her brother Hubert W. Wynne. Katie is survived by her niece Diane Wynne; sister-in-law Dorothy Wynne; nephew Larry Wynne; cousins Jerry Matthews and Dorothy Doss. She is also survived by Kathryn Sims, friend and caregiver; and life-long family friends Mary Jo and Ed Zabcik, Eleanor and Dick Barnett, and Libbi and David Risinger. A Memorial Service to celebrate her life will be 11:00 AM Saturday November 23, 2002 at Jeter & Son Funeral Home; Julian Buenger and John Englehard officiating.
