Mrs. Julia Hayes LaRochelle, 65, of 640 Boght Rd., Colonie, native of Waterford and resident of Cohoes the greater part of her life, died today at Cohoes Memorial Hospital, after a brief illness.
Mrs. LaRochelle was the wife of Ovila LaRochelle. She was a communicant of St. Bernard's Church, Cohoes.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, include four daughters, Mrs. Joan Perrier of Troy; Mrs. DIane Ghetti of Waterford; Mrs. Rose Mary Johnson of Troy and Mrs. Ann McKersie of Watervliet; a son, William LaRochelle of Waterford; two sisters, Catherine Hayes and Mrs. Mary Fosmire, both of Cohoes; a brother, John Hayes of Clifton Park and 18 grandchildren.
The funeral will be Wednesday at 9 a.m. from the Marra Funeral Home, Remsen and Columbia Streets, Cohoes, and at 9:30 a.m. from St. Bernard's Church, Cohoes where a Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated. Interment will be in St. Agnes' Cemetery, Cohoes.
