Born Oct. 6, 1939 in Carlisle, he was the son of the late John A. Worley Sr. and Charlotte H. Lintner Worley Hoover.
A Navy veteran of the Vietnam War era and a 1957 graduate of Carlisle High School, Mr. Worley was a security guard in the Carlisle area.
He was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 1299 in Carlisle, Mechanicsburg Men's Club and White Circle Club in Carlisle, where he was a former secretary.
He is survived by a sister, Betty Swarner of Carlisle; a stepsister, Geraldine Crabtree of Hopkins, S.C.; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Services were held Friday at Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home, 219 N. Hanover St., Carlisle, with the Rev. Charles D. Zitzman officiating. Burial was in Letort Cemetery, Middlesex Township.
