Ke’Asia Andrea Adkins, 17 of 5903 Sentry Hill Ct. North Dinwiddie, Virginia was called home on June 28, 2018. She was born May 14, 2001 to Andre Lamont Adkins Sr. and Vikisha Smith-Mallory (Walter). She was a native of Dinwiddie County.
Ke’Asia was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church in Petersburg, Virginia where Rev. Dr. Robert A. Diggs, Sr. is the Pastor. She attended Dinwiddie County High School where she was an uprising Junior. Ke'Asia participated in various in school and out of school activities such as: cheerleading, dancing, soccer, track and modeling. She was employed at Burger King.
Ke’Asia was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Willie Adkins and Thurman A. Smith, Jr. Ke'Asia leaves to cherish her precious memories along with her mother and father, four sisters, Kendra Green, Kayla Adkins, Dream Adkins and Khadijah Bassett; two brothers, Antonio Jones and Andre Adkins, Jr.; grandmothers, Delores M. Smith (Fred) and Beverly O. Adkins (Tyrone); grandfather, Keefe Turner; three aunts, Kyesha Smith, Averi M. Turner and Keisha Roney; great aunt, Nina Turner; four uncles, Anthony Coleman, Deonte Smith, Russell Adkins and Brian Adkins; two godmothers, Kenisha Carrol and MyKeema Taylor; several devoted friends to include: Jovan Burton, Alonzo Miles, Jr., NiAsia Bowling, Malaykia Saunders; best friends, Destiny Whitney and Raymond Lewis and many cousins, other relatives and friends.
Ke’Asia will always be remembered for her wonderful uplifting spirit and beautiful smile. Although she is gone home to be with the Lord, she’ll always live in our hearts!
A Celebration of Ke’Asia’s Life will be held on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at 12:00 P.M. at West End Baptist Church, 6506 Boydton Plank Rd., Petersburg, VA. Rev. Dr. Robert A. Diggs, Sr., Pastor of Tabernacle Baptist Church, Petersburg, VA will officiate. Pastor Belinda Baugh, Pastor of New Divine Worship Center, Petersburg, VA will give the Message of Comfort. Burial will follow at Dinwiddie Memorial Park, Petersburg, VA.
