Survivors include a daughter, Gail Foster Boalt; son, Fredrick Montague Foster, III; sisters, Georgie Rachel Cecil McCall (1918-1993), Elizabeth "Beth" Cecil Linder (1907-1994), Harriet Cecil Chesney (1917–2009), and Joyce Kacur; brothers, Thurman White Cecil (1912–2000), Cooper White Cecil (1913–1996), D. William Cecil, and O. Kent Cecil; and one grandchild.
Also predeceased by siblings, Dorothy Cecil (1905- 1986), Catherine Cecil West (1903–1988), Phillip Schuyler Cecil, Jr. (1895–1980)
Visitation will be held from 7:00 - 9:00 pm, Saturday, July 23, 1988, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel.
Graveside services were held at 2:00 pm, Sunday, July 24, 1988, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
Memorials could be made to the American Cancer Society, Spartanburg SC; or to F.A.C.T. (Fight Against Cancer Today), Spartanburg, SC.
