Charleston, Ill., Dec. 14 - Charles H. Byers, a former resident of Charleston, died Saturday in Anderson, Ind., following a long illness. The funeral will be held at the Harper funeral home in this city this Tuesday.
Mr. Byers was born in Franklin, Ind., but he moved to Charleston when a boy and lived here a number of years before moving to Anderson.
He leaves his wife, two sons, Willis Byers and Frank Byers, of Anderson, and three step-daughters, Mrs. George Turreff of Mattoon, Mrs. Charles Nees of Charleston and Mrs. Carrie Williams of Anderson. Mrs. Martin Ashmore of Witt, formerly of Charleston, is a sister.
