MEBANE - Mr. Goley D. Graves, 77, of 706 Vance St., died Monday, Sept. 14, 1998, after a lengthy illness.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 17, 1998, at Johnson Chapel A.M.E.

He is survived by his wife of fifty years, Elnora Oliver Graves; four sons, Gregory Graves, Stephen D. Graves, Sgt. Rodney Graves, and Mitchell Graves; four daughters, Cecilia G. Shaw, Eleanor Graves, Hariece G. Jeffries, and Cheryl Y. Graves; five sisters; one brother; 12 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Blackwell Funeral Home, Burlington is serving the family.
