Dale Schreur, age 80, of Hudsonville, went to be with his Lord on Saturday, July 7, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arie and Helen Schreur; brothers, Gerrit and Bob Schreur; sisters, Marie Vruggink, Janet Boice. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Flo Schreur; children, Beverly Vander Mey; Kevin Schreur; grandchildren, Lauren and Hayden Schreur; sisters-in-law, Lois Schreur, Marian Vruggink; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Dale proudly served our country as a member of the United States Army. He was a deeply committed Christian and a very active leader in his church. A celebration of Dale's life will be held on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. at Fellowship Reformed Church, 6610 36th Ave., Hudsonville, with Rev. Shawn Hulst officiating. Interment will be held at Beaverdam Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Fellowship Reformed Church. (Please enter through door "A" or "D".) In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to There Is Hope (African Missions in Malawi) or Love INC.
