Ellen Brockbank Dies; Funeral Slated Saturday

Ellen Truman Brockbank, 88, died at the home of Archie M. Chadburn in Provo Thursday.

Born February 18, 1867 at Mountain Meadows, Washington County, she was a daughter of Jacob Mica and Catherine Maxweel Truman. She married John Brockbank May 1, 1894, at Huntington. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She lived in Salt Lake City for 33 years. Her husband died December 25, 1938.

Surviving are three of her five children: Cleone Macham, Glendale, California; Orlan Brockbank, Ogden; Jay Milton Brockbank, Aurden, California; two sisters, Mary Louis Jones, Gunlock, Washington County' Loisna Bowler Beyo, Washington County.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 3:30 p.m. at Deseret Mortuary, 36 E. 7th S. in Salt Lake City. Interment will be in Salt Lake City.
