Joseph A. Gaughan, 52 of 1150 Legion St., Wilburton, passed away Sunday, July 8, 2018.

Born Oct. 18, 1965, he was a son of Mary Lou (Donahue) Gaughan, who survives, and the late Anthony Gaughan.

He was a 1983 graduate of Mount Carmel Area High School.

On March 13, 2004, in Catawissa, Joseph married Anne “Nancy” (Kawa) Gaughan, who survives.

Joe was employed at Tri-State envelope for more than 20 years and was also a haz-mat truck driver.

He was an avid motorcyclist and enjoyed his Harley-Davidson. He also loved camping and spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his mother, Mary Lou Gaughan, of Ashland, and his wife, Anne “Nancy” Gaughan, he is survived by a son, Anthony Gaughan, at home; two step-daughters, Winetta and Angel Ashline, both of Mount Carmel; a grandson, Cai Johnson; and nieces and nephews.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Ann Fitzgerald, and a brother, Anthony Gaughan.
