Jared A. "J" Mahoney, 27, of Quakertown, PA formerly of Hilltown died unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 11, 2018. Jared was born in Abington, PA to Michael, Sr. and Toni (Mahoney) Class.
He graduated from Tamaqua High School, Class 2008. As a child Jared loved playing football for the Pop Warner Green Jackets. Jared perused his passion for sports while attending Pennridge High School and Tamaqua High School where he played football, ran track and wrestled. He loved animals, enjoyed the outdoors, hiking, rock & roll concerts, watching the Sci-fi channel, going to the movies, playing video games and guitar. He was a passionate Philadelphia sports fan especially the EAGLES. FLY EAGLES FLY, GO BIRDS.
Jared was self employed in various fields of construction. Former employed at Aqua Pools of Telford, Hartland Demolition of Harleysville and H&K Skippack Materials Division.
In addition to his parents he is survived by two brothers, Justice T. O'Donnell of NC and Michael S. Class Jr. his companion, Maggie Gentile of Quakertown, PA; a sister, Samantha H. Class her companion Zack Sullivan of Quakertown, PA; paternal grandfather, James C. Class Jr. his wife Connie of Hatfield PA, and paternal grandmother, Elke Allen, Chalfont, PA; maternal grandmother, June Mahoney of Harleysville, PA; two uncles, Ronald W. Class of Sellersville, PA, James C. Class III and wife Connie of Salfordville, PA; four aunts, Susan Wesolowski and husband Mark, of Perkiomenville, PA, Ragni S. Lee of Collegeville, PA, Celeste A. Lee of DE and Lisa J. Lee of North Wales, PA.
He was preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Joseph A. Mahoney, an uncle, Jeffrey Brewington and cousin, Matthew Wesolowski.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at Anders-Detweiler Funeral Home & Crematory, Souderton, PA.
